Obama urges Muslims to spare a thought for refugees

WASHINGTON: In his Eidul Azha message, US President Barack Obama urged Muslims to remember millions of refugees who were observing their Eid away from homes and offered to accept some of them in the United States.

“As we mark Eidul Azha this year, we are reminded of the millions of refugees around the globe who are spending this sacred holiday separated from their families, unsure of their future, but still hoping for a brighter tomorrow,” he said.
